Really, smell my feet!

It’s a common problem for runners and anyone who wears shoes: stinky feet.The worst smelling shoes in my house undoubtedly are my 4-year-old’s Crocs and my barefoot running shoes. I was excited then when I recently received Friendly Foot, an all- natural foot powder, to review, courtesy of a PR firm for adventure products, Deep Creek PR. My first impression of the powder was that it smelled really nice, like a lavender sachet. Indeed, the ingredients are all natural and include organic tea tree, lavender, eucalyptus and peppermint. The fact that it is all natural was important to me because my dog is known to occasionally steal, hide or eat our shoes. According to the instructions on the outside of the bottle, you should squeeze the bottle into your shoes before and after you wear them. I made a mistake the first time and was very tentative in my application. Liberal use of the powder worked best. I’ve been using the powder for a few weeks now and I’m much braver when I hold my shoes up to my face. I suffered at the beginning of this experiment, but now my old shoes are refreshed and smell like a elegant lady’s underwear drawer. I also tried the powder in a pair of work shoes I usually wear with black tights. While those shoes smell better too, I got powder all over my tights and had to switch to another pair. Nevertheless, at $10.99, I think that Friendly Foot is absolutely worth the money and would make an excellent stocking stuffer this holiday season.
